Benefits of Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is a cactus-like plant with leaves that produce a gel rich in vitamins A, C, E, and B12. There are records of it being used as a therapeutic ingredient since 1750 BC.
Aloe vera is easily absorbed into the skin and helps to moisturise, soothe, and hydrate the skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties and supports the production of collagen. It also contains anti-oxidant properties, which can repair sun damage and slows down the skins ageing process.
In addition, there is research to show that aloe vera can increase flexibility and reduce the fragility of the skin.
Benefits of Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a well-known powerful antioxidant with great anti-ageing properties; it is an excellent free radical scavenger that protects skin cells from pollution, UV light, and elements that produce cell-damaging free radicals. The vitamin E in this Anniversary Indian Sandalwood Hand and Body Wash helps to cleanse and moisturise the skin while keeping it soft, supple and fresh.
The Indian Sandalwood Hand and Body Wash has a PETE 1 recyclable plastic bottle and is made from 100% PCR plastics. PCR plastics refer to any plastic material made from recycled post-consumer resins. They are more environmentally friendly and a far more sustainable option than any other types of plastic.
Please check with your local recycling authority regarding recycling the black dispenser pumps. For more information about the sustainability of our products, please click here.
Sustainable ‘Forest Film’ Labels
Designed with sustainability in mind, our Anniversary Hand and Body Washes are labelled with 100% renewable wood based raw materials. This ‘forest film’ material offers a renewable alternative to fossil-based film, all made from pulp production residues.
The Forest Film is an ISCC certified (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) plastic film and is produced by using sustainable resources to replace an equivalent amount of fossil resources in the production process (mass balance approach).

How Does Liquid Soap Work?
The purpose of washing is to remove the outer layer of oils and fats that harbour germs and rinse them away from the skin. Soap is a surfactant which means that when used on the hands and body, the soap molecules bind water and oil molecules together. After cleansing with soap, rinsing away the lather takes the oil and germs with it.
